Samuri Cabinet with conceled plate warmer in colaboration with Fred Baier

 

I was approached by reknown furniture designer Fred Baier to work with him on a bespoke commission for a client who required a unique piece of furniture that could be used whist entertaining. The client needed a warming cabinet that could be used to keep cooked plated dishes of food hot before they were served to guests at a dinner party. The cabinet needed to be designed as a statement piece of design as it would be positioned in the entertaining space. To meet the clients exotic tastes the cabinet was influenced by the image of a samuri sword holding cabinet and the main plate warming cabinet was shrouded in a jacket of beautiful shapes and materials resulting in an opulent and striking statement design.
