After one of our suppliers ceased to be able to supply us with ovens, I was given the project of finding an alternative supplier in Italy. I had to organise the specification, ordering and delivery of oven carcases that would be assembled into fabricated housings in our factory in the UK.

Project Involvement

Stage one

Find a supplier with a suitable product, establish a relationship with them, factory visit, negotiate price and supply terms, design casing to fit new oven cavity, CNC programming of case, production drawings and assembly instructions, organising of spares for warranty work, testing, compliance EMC and LVD.

Stage two

Fit exsisting hob units in both gas and electric, to top of oven to produce a fully electric or dual fuel unit.
